Marina Lennon
What Remains?
This work addresses how the improper disposal of man-made objects and materials is having a negative impact on the Earth, and more specifically, the world’s oceans. By focusing on small areas of a specific discarded object, Lennon creates an image that is almost unrecognizable as the original object and becomes something else that mirrors the natural terrains around the world as it would be seen from a satellite.
